Aluminum Material
Aluminum is an extremely important metal material in modern industry and daily life. It has a silvery-white metallic luster, a relatively light texture, and a density of about 2.7 g/cm3, which is only about one-third of the density of iron. This makes aluminum quite advantageous in applications that require weight, such as in the aerospace field, where aluminum and its alloys are used extensively to reduce aircraft weight, improving fuel efficiency and flight performance.
In machining manufacturing, aluminum is widely used because of some excellent properties, such as:
Aluminum has good electrical conductivity, which is about 60% copper, so it is also widely used in some power transmission fields, such as high-voltage overhead lines.
Aluminum also has excellent thermal conductivity and is a good conductor of heat. It is often used in the manufacture of heat exchange equipment such as radiators.
In terms of chemical properties, a dense aluminum oxide protective film is easily formed on the aluminum surface, which can effectively prevent aluminum from further reacting with substances such as oxygen and water, thereby making aluminum have good corrosion resistance under normal conditions.
Aluminum has good processing performance and can be made into products of various shapes and specifications, such as aluminum plates, aluminum foils, aluminum tubes, aluminum profiles, etc. through various processing techniques such as extrusion, rolling, forging, and casting.

Among the aluminum machining services we provide, our CNC manufactured aluminum includes but is not limited to the following.
1050
1050 aluminum contains more than 99.5% aluminum, with high plasticity and good corrosion resistance, but low strength. It can be annealed and other treatments, and can be gas welded, argon arc welded, etc. It is often used in daily necessities, chemical containers, heat sinks, nameplates, and other products that do not require high strength but require corrosion resistance and good formability.
2024
2024 is an aluminum-copper alloy with high hardness and good strength, but slightly poor corrosion resistance. It can be strengthened by heat treatment, and post-treatment includes quenching and aging. It is mainly used in the aerospace field to manufacture aircraft structural parts, rivets, and other parts that require high strength and hardness.
5053
5053 aluminum alloy has medium strength, good corrosion resistance, and weldability. It can be bent, stamped, and other processed anodized and other surface treatments. Commonly used in automobile parts manufacturing, building decoration, electronic equipment housing, etc., products that can meet certain strength and corrosion resistance requirements.
5058
5058 contains (al+ti) not higher than 1.6%, has strong corrosion resistance and high tensile strength and has good yield strength below 191 degrees. It can be annealed and quenched and is mostly used in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant steam generator heat transfer tubes and other occasions with high corrosion resistance and strength requirements.
5754
5754 has medium strength and good corrosion resistance, especially outstanding seawater corrosion resistance. It can be bent, welded, and other processing, and is often used in shipbuilding, marine engineering, automotive parts, and other products that need to be used in harsh corrosive environments.
6061
5754 has medium strength and good corrosion resistance, especially outstanding seawater corrosion resistance. It can be bent, welded, and other processing, and is often used in shipbuilding, marine engineering, automotive parts, and other products that need to be used in harsh corrosive environments.
6082
6082 aluminum alloy has a slightly higher strength than 6061 and has good corrosion resistance and processing performance. It can be subjected to heat treatment such as quenching and aging and various surface treatment processes. It is often used to manufacture mechanical parts, molds, bridge structures, and other products that require strength and corrosion resistance.
